Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Ascend Mental Health Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, answer phone calls, screen and direct them appropriately, and manage incoming communications and correspondence.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, coordinate with providers and medical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain client records, ensure accuracy of information, assist with billing and insurance verification processes, and handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
  • Patient Support: Provide information about our services and answer inquiries from patients, assist clients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Ascend providers, medical staff, and other team members to provide excellent patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive etc..).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
