POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is primarily focused on overseeing the management and support of vendor applications throughout their lifecycle.

The responsibilities include assisting users with installation challenges, diagnosing application-related issues, and overseeing application updates and security vulnerabilities.

The position also entails after-hours support and participation in an on-call rotation, alongside other designated duties. A crucial factor for success in this role is the proven ability to quickly adapt to new software and responsibilities.

Experience in supporting the following applications is advantageous:

- AutoDesk Applications (particularly AutoCAD)
- CADWorx
- LogMate
- DNV Synergi Gas and SPS
- DNV SPS Trainer


This position allows for remote work flexibility, although attendance in the office for monthly or bimonthly team meetings is anticipated.

Compensation is based on experience.


This role is eligible for remote work in select states.

Occasional travel may be required for corporate meetings.

Job Profile Summary


Accountable for, with minimal supervision, all facets of the application lifecycle for vendor software, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions as prioritized by the organization, including the creation and updating of system documentation and training materials.
- Design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of dependable and scalable software solutions, aligned with user requirements and business priorities.
- Manage projects and processes throughout the entire application lifecycle.
- Collect and document business requirements to ascertain necessary capabilities. Consult with users regarding priorities, complexities, and impacts of requirements. Provide time and cost estimates for proposed modifications.
- Coordinate and communicate development efforts with team members, infrastructure staff, vendors, and management.
- Adhere to established change control and compliance protocols related to custom and vendor applications, including all required documentation and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities to implement existing solutions in other business areas.
- Engage with business users through consulting and training to ensure effective utilization of technology solutions.
- Collaborate with key process owners on documenting complex application defects, enhancements, and projects.
- Mentor and review the work of junior professionals.
- Resolve challenging and complex issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant experience.

Work Experience

- Familiarity with software development and programming principles.
- Understanding of database management systems.
- Knowledge of basic project management concepts.
- Awareness of fundamental infrastructure concepts and their implications for custom or vendor applications.

Skills and Abilities

- Proficient in the use of office equipment, including computers and relevant software.
- Ability to apply mathematical, algebraic, and statistical methods.
- Effective interaction, advising, and communication skills.
- Capability to develop information, conduct meetings, and deliver presentations.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
