Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferably in home health care or a related field).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
