National Security Project Lead

This Federal Compliance Specialist position is a critical role within our organization, requiring expertise in national security operations, preparedness, security, and law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of emergency management systems and preparedness strategies, as well as demonstrated experience in security protocols and law enforcement practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect Veterans, the VA workforce, and those interacting with the VA.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with customer technical needs.
- Analyze technical data to provide comprehensive insights and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide expert advice to VA management and customers on complex system projects, activities, and operations.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, ensuring all project activities meet specified standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 8-10 years of experience in emergency management operations, preparedness strategies, and security practices.
