Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled culinary team leader to join our corrections division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established culinary standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing guidance and training to team members in all areas of food preparation and hygiene, ensuring timely meal service and maintaining high standards for portion control, presentation, and temperature of all food items.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of culinary experience in a reputable, high-volume kitchen with a focus on scratch cooking.
  • Thorough understanding of culinary techniques, methods, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate should possess extensive product knowledge, deliver excellent customer service, and thrive in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Handlers certification is advantageous.
Compensation:

$18.00 per hour
