As a member of our Maintenance/Repair Services team, you will be responsible for non-destructively testing preventive maintenance, structural, and mechanical repairs. You will follow established procedures and diagnostic inspection methods to determine and approve work orders. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our railcar maintenance services. Key responsibilities include:

* Setting up and standardizing NDT equipment
* Interpreting and evaluating results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
* Instructing employees on proper railcar maintenance activities using established NDT procedures and training materials
* Performing on-the-job NDT training and providing guidance to trainees and NDT Level I personnel
* Assisting in the completion of tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous railroad repair experience preferred but not required
* Minimum 4 years of experience
* Knowledge of industry-specific tests and test equipment
* Previous experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Working knowledge of computers, operating systems, and Microsoft Office software
* Current Ultrasonic Testing Level II Certification and NDT certifications as follows: Liquid Penetrant Test Method (PT), Visual Test Method (VT), Remote Visual Test Method (RVI)
