Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator for a manufacturing client. This position requires full onsite engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, or transportation operations.
- Responsible for sourcing raw materials.
- Oversee transportation and logistics functions.
- Contribute significantly to the procurement process.
- Formulate innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize costs.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, inventory levels, customer satisfaction, and financial obligations.
- Conduct metrics reporting and data analysis to pinpoint challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality system requirements.
- Manage the complete import/export shipment process, including arrival notifications, shipment tracking, and release coordination.
- Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and manage timely pickups and deliveries.
- Possess a solid understanding of supply chain, inventory, procurement, distribution, and management principles.
- Exhibit strong negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in logistics, procurement, MRP, and inventory management systems.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements.
- Evaluate and compare supplier offers.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders as necessary.
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and address gaps in experience.
- Drive innovation and implement process changes.
- Effectively communicate and present information to upper management.
- Manage the entire import/export shipment cycle efficiently, including arrival notifications, shipment tracking, and facilitating releases.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
