As a dedicated Inpatient Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider at SUNY Upstate Medical University, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. With a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, this is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled professional to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert consultative services to patients and their families
• Developing and implementing effective symptom management strategies to improve patient outcomes
• Creating and implementing personalized acute and chronic pain management plans
• Evaluating and treating patients, providing education and guidance on palliative care principles
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to lead process improvement activities related to palliative care
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, referring providers, and healthcare team members

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current NYS licensure/registration as a NP or PA
• National Certification consistent with clinical practice
• NPI number and Medicare enrollment
• CPR-BLS Certification
• Ability to pass pre-employment and credentialing clearances
