Body Shop Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and manage the body shop team to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.
    • Provide guidance, support, and training to staff members to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring high-quality repairs and timely completion of projects.
    • Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes to maximize productivity.
    • Monitor and control expenses, maintain budget compliance, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service by maintaining high-quality repair standards.
    • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer experience.
  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to meet or exceed industry standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations:
    • Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
    • Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Manager or a similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of collision repair processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with insurance claim processes and regulations.
