Improve Patient Outcomes as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a CNC, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.

About the Role

The CNC ensures efficient throughput and high-quality patient care through effective admission and discharge processes. You will participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members. Additionally, you will support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with staff scheduling, managing labor needs according to patient care requirements and productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as implementing courses of action for employee development, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications

To be successful as a CNC, you must have:

  • Current licensure in Idaho as a Registered Nurse.
  • BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with anticipated completion within 3 years.
  • A minimum of three (3) years clinical practice in the clinical specialty of assigned unit, preferably.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) Certification and ACLS.
  • Certification in area of clinical work, or plan for certification in place.

This job requires a salary range of $35.70 - $53.54 per hour, which translates to approximately $74,000 - $111,500 annually. However, actual salaries may vary based on factors like specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in similar roles.
