Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Histotechnologist II to join our team at Mercy. As a Histotechnologist II, you will be responsible for performing routine histological procedures, maintaining department inventory, and operating and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Performs computer functions, processes patient specimens, and maintains department inventory
  • Operates and maintains equipment, and performs record-keeping tasks and QI functions
  • Develops standard operating procedures in department
  • Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred: HT (ASCP) certification
  • Preferred experience: 3-5 years in a histology lab
