Job Summary

Brigade Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Workover Rig Crew Member to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of our workover rig operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the rigging up and down of equipment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Perform elevated work associated with rigging up/down, including removing horse heads from pumping units.
  • Responsible for all work performed related to servicing the well, including rod basket and tubing board operations.
  • Operate tubing elevators for standing tubing in the derrick.
  • Support the picking up or laying down of tubing and manually moving tubing between racks and the work floor.
  • Stop work if conditions are unsafe and report concerns immediately, including all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations.
  • May be required to work on the floors or derricks on the rig as needed.
  • Perform PPE, fall protection, fall arrest system, harness, derrick, and hoisting component inspections as required.
  • Pull and lay down rods, tubing, casing, and other equipment as needed, utilizing forklifts, winches, or assistance from other crew members when necessary.
  • Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and tailgate meetings as scheduled.
  • Responsible for keeping the work site, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order.
  • Assist in the daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Successfully perform elevator handling, hardline construction, and energy isolation procedures.
  • Report all incidents as per company policies.
  • Drive crew trucks as needed (driver's license and clean driving record required).
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in the oilfield and/or workover rig industry.
  • Previous experience working in a team environment and establishing effective working relationships.
  • Able to work flexible schedules and overtime as required.
  • Capable of performing in outdoor working environments in extreme temperatures and conditions.
  • Must provide proof of right to work in the United States, have a clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
