Key Responsibilities- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of drilling equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drilling equipment.
- Training and Development: Provide technical training and guidance to rig crews on operator maintenance, technical level, and troubleshooting skills.
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience in drilling equipment maintenance and repair.
- Special Requirements: 18 years or older, valid driver's license, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with rig crews, management, and other stakeholders.
