Actalent is seeking a Quality Process Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our industrial processes, materials, and products.
About the RoleThis position involves planning and conducting activities related to quality assurance, including assisting the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) team with quality issues on new product launches. You will prepare and evaluate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for customers and suppliers, upload required SPC to customer portals daily, and assist in developing and implementing standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Plan and conduct activities for quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products.
- Assist the APQP team with quality issues on new product launches.
- Prepare and evaluate PPAP documents for customers and suppliers.
- Upload required SPC to customer portals daily.
- Assist in developing and implementing standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation to meet customer requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience OR 10+ years as a Process or Quality Engineer.
- Quality Core tools - FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP.
- Process engineering - process controls plans.
