About the Role

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Syndication Loan Closing Associate to join our Commercial Loan Operations team. This role is responsible for closing and booking syndicated commercial loans where Capital One is the Administrative Agent.

About the Team

The Commercial Loan Operations team supports day-to-day operations of loans pertaining to unique or niche industries that require special handling and industry knowledge. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients while ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the closing of syndicated loans where Capital One is the Administrative Agent, serving as the operational point of contact for the syndicate lender group during the pre-closing process.
  • Review complex legal documents and commercial loan documents to ensure documentation accurately reflects the intentions of the credit approval and complies with bank policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback on draft documents pertaining to loan booking and servicing mechanics.
  • C coordinate the completion of pre-closing requirements with internal and external clients, including underwriters, syndication desk, borrowers, lenders, and legal counsel.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Commercial Loan Syndication experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
