About the Job

The Commercial Loan Syndication Associate will play a key role in supporting the growing Commercial Loan Operations Closing Team. The team supports day-to-day operations of loans pertaining to unique or niche industries that require special handling and industry knowledge.

  • Support the closing of syndicated loans where Capital One is the Administrative Agent.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for the syndicate lender group during the pre-closing process.
  • Review complex legal documents and commercial loan documents to ensure documentation accurately reflects the intentions of the credit approval.

With at least 2 years of Commercial Loan Syndication experience, you will be responsible for coordinating the completion of pre-closing requirements with internal & external clients (underwriters, syndication desk, borrowers, lenders, and legal counsel). You will also collect third-party reports (appraisals, environmental), & commercial insurance in consultation with real estate & insurance specialists.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package for this role, including an estimated salary range of $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This is a work-from-home opportunity, but candidates must live within approximately 50 miles of one of the hub locations based in Richmond, VA, Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC.

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 2 years of Commercial Loan Syndication experience.
