We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a vital member of our operating room team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the OR Registered Nurse with operating room setup, equipment, and patient positioning, utilizing aseptic technique and knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Set up the sterile surgical field, utilizing knowledge of surgical instrumentation, suturing, passing, dissecting, retracting, and closing of surgical wounds.
- Perform supply management duties, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly maintained.
- Surgical Technology Program graduate or equivalent training.
- Certified Surgical Technologist and Licensed with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician, preferred.
