Medical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to join our team at the Swedish Cancer Institute. As an integral part of our cancer care and clinical research center, you will have access to more than 150 Swedish-affiliated oncologists and oncology surgeons throughout the Pacific Northwest.
With a robust clinical trials program and an environment open to new drug treatments, technology, and clinical applications, the Swedish Cancer Institute is a hub of innovation. You will be responsible for managing urgent oncology situations and providing real-time patient education about cancer therapies and diagnoses with physician support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage urgent oncology situations
- Provide real-time patient education
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
Requirements:
- 2-5 years' experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
