Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff within the unit, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Care Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care and services.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation, to maintain quality standards and compliance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and services.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident well-being, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements:
  • Education and Licensure: Valid State of Maine Registered Nurse License and an advanced degree or certification in a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care or Skilled setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
