Way Engineering is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, and piping systems. We are seeking a skilled VDC Coordinator to support our team in delivering high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement VDC strategies and best practices on projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM/VDC execution plans and provide subject matter expertise.
- Manage project-specific VDC strategies, scope, and plans, ensuring successful implementation of WAY's high standards.
- Prepare and review sign-off sheets to ensure project compliance.
- Oversee project VDC execution plans and contractual requirements.
- Provide guidance on BIM scopes and review trade partner BIM qualifications.
- Detailing experience requires a working knowledge of mechanical/plumbing systems and the ability to take direction from lead detailers.
- 2-7+ years of construction technologies experience in the AEC industry, driving VDC adoption on large capital projects.
- Strong graphical, illustration, and documentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced software knowledge in Autodesk packages and other platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools and technologies.
