Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at Edgewood Family Dental, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough dental exams, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental exams, including visual exams, radiographs, and periodontal assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Indiana
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills
