Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures and providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures and provide high-quality patient care
  • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
  • Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures
  • Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results
  • Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology
  • BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
