Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Salinas, California.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular studies
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
- ARDMS or CCI certification
- AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
