Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team at Children's Hospital New Orleans. This role is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation of patients within the hospital and its facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care by safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, procedures, and other destinations.
  • Care for patients with diverse needs, including those with physical disabilities or special requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge of patient handling techniques and safety protocols.
