We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at AMR Corp.
About the Role:As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency medical calls, providing high-quality patient care, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action and provide advanced medical care.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and suction devices, to provide patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, loved ones, and other healthcare professionals to provide information and assurance.
- Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with other EMS providers.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- New Mexico State Paramedic Certification
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass the Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
