Job Summary

V2X is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator II to provide support and administration to installation database servers/systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures to protect our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Support: Monitor database server performance, troubleshoot and repair database systems, conduct backup operations, and test and implement DISA STIG settings.
  • Customer Service: Maintain customer/client accounts, provide technical support, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Document applicable DISA STIG settings and maintain accurate records of database server performance and security measures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED and CompTIA Security+ CE Certification.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience performing systems administrative duties in a large, complex computing environment, with expert-level experience administering SQL Server databases.
  • Skills: Standard Office Equipment, Microsoft Software Products, and ability to lift/push/pull 40 lbs. unassisted.
Working Environment
  • Normal office environment.
  • May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours, including nights or weekends.
Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.
