We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team at Alta Equipment Group. As a key member of our construction equipment group, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial lifts, compact equipment, and small utility equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose issues, and implement necessary repairs.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer technical training programs and industry developments to ensure the highest level of expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and understanding of engine, power train, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Possess own tools and a positive attitude with high energy levels.
  • Clean driving record and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Intermediate language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
