About This Role:

The Kansas State University College of Education is seeking a highly skilled Accountant I to join our team. As an Accountant I, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparing and processing payments, posting expenses, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly financial reports.

Worksite Options:

This position is eligible for hybrid worksite. Work is performed partially remote and partially on employer premises or designated assignment location. What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in accounting work is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the State of Kansas and Kansas State University policies and procedures is a plus.
  • The ability to work within a high-volume, fast-paced setting is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong time-management skills are necessary.
