About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer Assistant Manager in the Dallas district office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage resource coordination for various work scopes, including customer and Field Service interface for equipment installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification.
  • Support the District Service Manager and interface with internal and external customers to resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain customer relationships and support the platform team.
  • Ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in a business-related field or engineering required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in generation service for a level 7 (Mercer 52) and 8+ for the level 6 (Mercer 54).
  • Experience in general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and associated equipment.
  • Experience working with union & non-union labor is required.
  • Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software, SAP, and Excel is a must.
  • Must have experience developing and managing Financial Budgets.
  • Required to travel up to 25%.
