The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and safe dispensing of prescription medications at VFP Pharmacy Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our pharmacists in their daily tasks and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment: Assist with picking, dispensing, packing, and shipping medication orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Patient Interaction: Manage patient and customer interactions, providing exceptional service and support via in-person, phone, and email communication.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve our goals and provide a positive patient experience.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensure: Current State of MA Pharmacy Technician License required; CPhT License a plus.
- Experience: 0-1 years of related work experience required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access).
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time with flexibility to work varying shifts, including Saturdays.
