Job Description

Job Summary:

The Home Energy Specialist (HES) Assistant Technician conducts Energy Assessments with a main focus on Blower Door guided air sealing. This role requires conducting Blower Door Tests, air sealing homes based on Blower Door diagnoses, and documenting results. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and OSHA 10 and OSHA Confined Space Certification.

Essential Functions:

  1. Conduct Blower Door Tests
  2. Air seal homes based on Blower Door diagnoses
  3. Documentation
  4. Perform additional tasks as required

Work Environment:

  • Customer settings

Physical Demands:

  • Standing, bending, crawling, or kneeling in confined spaces
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Traveling in a personal or company-provided vehicle
