Position Overview:

**Compensation Starts at $20/hr** with shifts from Tuesday to Friday, noon to 8:30 PM, and Saturday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

This role involves executing various warehouse tasks, including assembling and packaging deliveries, managing inventory rotation, and entering patient data. Additionally, you will oversee the efficient and timely delivery of medications and supplies to patient residences, ambulatory infusion suites, or other service locations. You will also assist with the ordering, receiving, and stocking of incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes a positive working relationship with courier services, understanding their operations related to response times, delivery protocols, and compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and ACHC.
  • Maintains assigned delivery vehicles in a clean and orderly condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor. Develops contingency plans for emergency breakdowns.
  • Prepares compounding materials prior to their entry into the clean room.
  • Compounds sterile preparations as required.
  • Inspects final products for particulate matter and container integrity before presenting them to the pharmacist for final verification.
  • Labels compounded sterile preparations in accordance with state regulations.
  • Checks ancillary supplies and picks/pack supplies as needed.
  • Implements efficient territory management and delivery zones, coordinating with customer service and pharmacy to ensure timely processing of delivery tickets and compounding documents.
  • Utilizes best practices in delivery and warehouse operations, maintaining a safe work environment and tracking delivery costs.
  • Assists in training new warehouse team members.
  • Participates in the inventory counting process and final reporting.
  • Ensures the warehouse is maintained safely and efficiently.
  • Facilitates smooth workflow processes and inventory stocking.
  • Assembles and prepares patient deliveries.
  • Receives and stocks incoming orders.
  • Conducts routine maintenance, testing, and cleaning of returned equipment.
  • Manages inventory control, rotating stock as necessary and promptly notifying relevant personnel of shortages.
  • Accurately compiles ordered medications, supplies, and equipment for delivery, ensuring supervisory cross-checking for accuracy.
  • Adheres to all performance programs, policies, procedures, and internal control standards established by the company.
  • Reports any concerns regarding deficiencies in internal control.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Basic Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary, along with a driving record that meets company standards and continuous auto insurance coverage.
  • Must meet all state requirements for a Pharmacy Technician, which may include registration, licensure, or certification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Awareness of the supervisory pharmacist's role in ensuring medication integrity during preparation, storage, and shipping.
  • Knowledge of the geographical area serviced by the pharmacy, including traffic patterns and drive times.
  • Understanding of all service options and delivery time commitments.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards and requirements.
  • Ability to promote a cooperative work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various departments.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting operational logistics relevant to assigned duties. Capable of operating information systems, following policies, completing required forms, and preparing reports.
  • Mathematical Skills: Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Skilled in identifying problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and contributing to valid conclusions.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • One year of experience in Warehouse/Distribution/Inventory and Healthcare is preferred.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.

Pay Range: $18.35 - $30.59
