Compounding Pharmacy Technician II

At Option Care Health, we're re-imagining the infusion care experience for patients, customers, and employees. As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and smooth compounding operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription compounding, preparation, and processing, adhering to OCH policies and state regulations.
  • Prepare medications for accurate compounding, performing basic pharmaceutical calculations as needed.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by reviewing and inspecting compounded and packaged medications.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain pharmacy surfaces, equipment, and temperature logs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Licensed or registered (if required by the state).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience.
