Job Summary:

The Pet Grooming Instructor will teach future pet groomers the skills necessary to improve pets' hygiene and enhance their physical appearance. Classes will consist of both lecture and in-person labs, including supervising and assisting students in the act of pet grooming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach pet grooming techniques, including clippering, scissoring, hand stripping, carding, and de-shedding.
  • Supervise and assist students in the act of pet grooming.
  • Maintain a clean and safe grooming workstation.
  • Work hands-on with students to achieve a finished groom on a variety of coat types.

Requirements:

  • Pet groomer with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
