The Baylor College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine, is seeking a talented Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital North Austin Campus. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide patient care in a state-of-the-art Emergency Center in Austin, TX. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to build something from the ground up with the support and resources of a nationally ranked children's hospital.

About the Opportunity:
This position is a rare chance to participate in the start, growth, and expansion of a brand-new medical facility and campus aimed to serve the growing population of Austin, Texas. You will be part of a highly respected Emergency Medicine Division, working closely with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The new full-service hospital will increase access to quality healthcare for children and women across central Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for delivering emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents aged 0-21 years. This will include treating patients in a Level 2 trauma center, performing high-stakes procedures, and providing core privileges. Your experience and skills will be essential in building a strong foundation for our new facility.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree. You should be ABEM or ABP Board certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Alternatively, you can be ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with experience or a special interest in pediatric emergency medicine. You must also be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas medical license.
