Highly Skilled Web Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Services Engineer to join our team at NiSUS Technologies Corporation.
About the Role:
- Install, configure, and manage web server software (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS) and related components.
- Regularly update and patch web servers to ensure they are secure and performing optimally.
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect web servers from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability in case of server failure.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to support web application deployments and ensure smooth operation.
- Provide support to users and developers for web server-related issues and inquiries.
- Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring user satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with users and stakeholders, addressing their concerns, and providing solutions.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline server management tasks.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance web server operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Poly Required- A minimum of 19 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 5 years of experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Red Hat System Administrator (RHSA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, SSL/TLS, and web security practices.
Compensation and Benefits:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
