Role Overview:
As an Autism Support Specialist, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with our clients in their residences, utilizing our developmental care strategies. You will receive comprehensive support from our Clinical team as you become an essential resource for a child and their family.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Participate in our unique training program, earning $20/hour for approximately 20 hours of training.
  • Deliver individualized, play-based support to children or young adults with autism.
  • Implement personalized care plans and document progress through our mobile application.
  • Engage professionally with clients' families to ensure they are informed partners in the care process.
  • Attend clinical training sessions and team meetings to enhance your professional development.
  • Become part of a vibrant company culture dedicated to your success and the well-being of the families we serve.

Ideal Candidates:
We welcome applicants with backgrounds as Teachers Assistants, Camp Counselors, Childcare Specialists, Special Education Professionals, Direct Support Workers, and Personal Caregivers.

About You:
We prioritize your aspirations over your past experiences. You should apply if you can commit to the following:
  • Seeking a part-time position of 6-10 hours per week.
  • Interest in child development; prior experience with children is advantageous.
  • At least 18 years old with a GED or high school diploma.
  • Willingness to commit to Positive Development for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Possess the patience and empathy necessary to support children with developmental needs.
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID; mileage reimbursement is available for work-related travel.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, frequently get up and down from the floor, and actively engage in play with children.
  • A genuine desire to contribute to the growth of individuals with developmental challenges.
