What You'll Do

The Autism Care Specialist plays a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will assist families seeking support with Autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing behavioral health treatment in-home, at a support center or in a community.

This position is responsible for making meaningful change in the client and families' life. As an Autism Care Specialist, you will work directly with clients, providing 1:1 care during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings. Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes. Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions. Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.

Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner. Consulting with case Supervisor on treatment plans, Client updates, and intervention strategies. Receiving and utilizing ongoing training, guidance, and support.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package of $20.00-$23.00/hourly, with a $300.00 hiring bonus for part-time employees offered when 150 clinical hours are worked within 6 months and a $600.00 hiring bonus for part-time employees offered when 300 clinical hours are worked within 6 months.

Additionally, we offer an extra $1.00 for Spanish bilingual candidates. Fluency will be assessed through a test. Our work schedule is Monday-Friday between the hours of 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a minimum of 6 months or of relevant experience working with individuals, may include internships, volunteer work, or employment in related fields such as education or childcare.

High school diploma or GED (minimum) and reliable transportation are required. You must successfully complete a live scan background check, employment verification, and TB screening. You must be able to lift up to 30lbs while assisting consumers and be able to run, bend, sit, stand for long periods at a time.
