Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Kettering Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver respiratory care services to neonates, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • 1 year of NICU experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio.
  • ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Graduate of an Associate degree or higher accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Minimum 1 year of practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred.
  • NRP certification preferred or within 3 months of hire.
