We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center-Burbank. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and technical assistance in both diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including imaging devices and cardiovascular diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiovascular technology and patient care.
- Completion of a program in Radiologic technology.
- Courses and/or training in EKG interpretation, Intra-Aortic Balloon insertion, Waveform interpretation, IVUS insertion, Flow wire insertion, Electrophysiology, and Hemodynamic monitoring.
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
