Pentair Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

At Pentair, we're passionate about creating innovative solutions for a sustainable future. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a critical role in driving our operations forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing systems and processes that meet sound engineering fundamentals and lean principles.
  • Design, assemble, procure, or modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in introducing new products and processes, coordinating quality, tooling, layouts, and processes.
  • Program and troubleshoot production machines, including automated balancing equipment, vertical and horizontal mills, and dual spindle horizontal lathes.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Manager to ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with maintenance manager to support machine repair and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with hands-on training of manufacturing employees on new products, tooling, equipment, and process revisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including time as a Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and CNC programming.
  • Background in manufacturing process improvement, CNC machining, assembly, automation, project management, and new equipment implementation.
  • Functional skills in CAD/CAM systems, problem-solving, and process troubleshooting.
