Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electrical Control Panel Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Control Panel Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling electrical enclosures for the measurement and control of hydrocarbon and chemical products, as well as power and water applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical enclosures according to company standards and practices
  • Mount electronic control hardware into enclosures
  • Terminate input and output signals (I/O) from electronic control hardware to termination blocks
  • Accurately measure wire lengths and strip insulation
  • Landing wire ends under screw terminals and tightening
Requirements:
  • Panel building experience
  • Reading schematics
  • Cabling and physical layout of electrical control equipment
  • Using hand tools (wire strippers, hand wrenches, hand saws) and small power tools (hand drills, sabre saws)
  • General PC skills (Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Attention to detail and dexterity
Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing facility. The work area is non-climate controlled, but the company is working on making the entire facility climate controlled. The valve department is already climate controlled.
