At Staffing Proxy, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Audiologist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with Audio Rx, a trusted provider of audiology services in Los Angeles for 45 years.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, matching retirement plan, CEU and licensure reimbursement, and relocation assistance.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hearing evaluations, diagnostics, fitting hearing aids, and conducting various auditory tests, including DPOAEs, AEP, OAE, and vestibular testing. They should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals.

  • Hearing Evaluation and Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostics to assess patients' hearing health.
  • Hearing Aid Fitting and Programming: Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids for patients, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
  • Auditory Testing: Perform Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs), Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP), and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) tests to diagnose and monitor hearing conditions.
  • Vestibular Testing: Conduct vestibular testing, including VNG's, O-Vemp, and C-Vemp, to evaluate balance and equilibrium.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must have:

  • A Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D)
  • Licensure to practice audiology in the state of California
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an audiologist
  • Proficiency in conducting a wide range of auditory tests and diagnostics
  • Expertise in fitting and programming hearing aids from various manufacturers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A basic understanding of Spanish to communicate with a diverse patient population
