Job Overview

Goli Tech is in search of a proactive Business Intelligence developer who will take on the role of a technical leader and solution manager for our BI reporting tools, which include Business Objects and Tableau Server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the support and management of enterprise-level business intelligence and visualization applications (Business Objects, Tableau).
  • Investigate and develop tools and solutions aimed at enhancing data usability and engagement across various program areas, while also supporting the acquisition of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior management across business and IT to identify and prioritize BI data and reporting requirements.
  • Address complex technical challenges and provide expertise in data visualization architecture and solutions, including considerations for dashboard security and data sharing.
  • Enhance the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data filtering and indexing improvements that deliver value to users.
  • Establish standards for dashboard development and quality metrics, while creating testing methodologies and criteria.
  • Design and implement a training curriculum for clients to effectively utilize business intelligence tools, thereby improving their decision-making capabilities.
  • Formulate standards, policies, and procedures regarding the structure and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Explore new technologies and create business cases to advocate for enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
  • Design and manage the security framework for business intelligence tools, including visualization datasets, user roles, and request processes.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in Tableau development, administration, and support.
  • Proficiency in Business Objects development, administration, and support.
  • Familiarity with Tableau Server's internal and external security protocols.
  • Knowledge of Business Objects security administration.

Preferred Skills: Business Intelligence Architect, Big Data
