Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials to various job sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Report any shortages or claims to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the loading and storage of materials.
  • Utilize a Rough Terrain Forklift (RTFL) for unloading wall and floor panels.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Ability to maintain a DOT-required log of driving and duty hours.
  • Experience in assisting forklift operators during loading.
  • Commitment to delivering and unloading materials to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Completion of daily pre-inspections of equipment.
  • Accurate recording of returned merchandise and assistance in unloading materials for credit.
  • Adherence to Department of Transportation guidelines.
  • Maintenance of cleanliness in the yard and warehouse.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 months of CDL experience is preferred, with basic experience in flatbeds and/or tractor trailers.
