Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Tumwater School District. As an Evening Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain buildings in a clean, warm, attractive, and functional order
  • Conduct minor maintenance tasks, operate and care for tools and equipment
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with school staff, students, and community groups
Requirements
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge and skills of custodial work, including facility maintenance and repair activities
  • Punctual and dependable, able to work well with others, maintain good health, and perform heavy physical labor
  • Class IV Boiler License, certificate of completion, or willingness to obtain one, if applicable
  • Maintain a valid Washington State Driver's License
Working Conditions

This is a part-time evening position, working 8 hours a day, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. The schedule may vary depending on the needs of the district.
