Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our banking center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

About the Role
  • You will be the face of our bank, representing our values and mission in every interaction with customers.
  • Providing personalized support and guidance to customers on various banking services and products.
  • Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner, demonstrating knowledge of customer service best practices.
  2. Meet or exceed referral expectations by referring customers to suitable Great Southern services and products.
  3. Responsible for balancing daily transactions and verifying cash totals, identifying and documenting any discrepancies.
  4. Process transactions efficiently and accurately, minimizing errors and meeting productivity standards.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to bank security policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure full compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations, including BSA/AML requirements.
  7. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required, but previous banking or cash handling experience is an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with desktop/laptop computers, and proficiency in specialized software systems.
  • Ability to accurately perform arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
