Job Title: Part-Time Mathematics Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Mathematics Instructor to join our team at Georgia State University's Perimeter College. As a Part-Time Mathematics Instructor, you will play a key role in educating and supporting students in mathematics courses.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods. You will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses on the collegiate level, relating to a diverse student population, and facilitating student learning. Responsibilities:
  • Teach mathematics courses on the collegiate level
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
  • Use instructional technology to enhance teaching and learning
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
