Job Summary

The Part-Time Mathematics Instructor will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses on the collegiate level, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to relate to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses on the collegiate level, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of mathematics programs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
