Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Summit Companies. As a key member of our installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of fire protection and security for our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm systems, with experience in installation, testing, and repair. You will work closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with fire alarm systems, identifying and resolving problems quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with our design team to ensure all installations meet the latest industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to client queries and concerns.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET or state-specific certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire life safety industry, specifically in fire alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards, including NFPA and local regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
